Developed in partnership with the Milwaukee Public Schools, Supplemental Services Tracker™ (SST) is a web-based, database software program that helps educators manage and monitor Supplemental Educational Services tutoring programs as required for eligible students attending schools deemed "in Need of Improvement" per the No Child Left Behind Act.

Running on a centralized SQL 2000 database, SST was designed to collect and manage SS program data over the Internet. The software is used to track attendance, demographic, and academic information for participating students. In addition to maintaining positive attendance, vendor catalogs, Individual Achievement Plans (IAP's) and pre- and post-test results in its secure, centralized database, SST provides a linkage for administration and day-school teachers to supplemental service providers. SST also facilitates communications and continuity of supportive services based on each student's IAP as determined by providers in concert with parent/guardians, with prior district approval.

As provider staff members enter information into the system during the course of their normal activities, the data immediately becomes available (in "real time") for informal and formal site- and district-level querying and reporting. At the district level, all data can be readily accessed and exported in various formats for further evaluation. SST is continually evolving based on experience and user feedback. The system is readily extendable with custom reports based on each user's specific needs. SST's many features and benefits include:
